About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, is highly autonomous, proactive and will be comfortable using AI-powered development environments such as Cursor to enhance productivity and rapidly develop high-quality software. (knowing how to prompt and guide AI effectively, and critically evaluate the outputs for production-readiness).
This position is full time, permanent and we are open to hiring remotely within Europe.
What you will do
You will work closely with team members and the product manager to brainstorm, understand project requirements and deliver best in class, high-value features to our customers. You will conduct releases and automated testing, ensuring the highest level of software quality.
What we are looking for
- Extensive Full Stack Expertise: At least 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating significant proficiency across both frontend and backend technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with our core stack, including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vite, Nest.js, MongoDB, Docker, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- DevOps Acumen: A deep understanding of CI/CD principles and practical experience with cloud hosting solutions.
- API Development Mastery: Proven ability to develop, test, and maintain robust APIs.
- Collaborative Tooling: Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
- Global Team Player: Experience working effectively in multicultural environments with distributed teams across various time zones.
- Proactive & Autonomous: A self-starter with a proactive, autonomous, and self-sufficient attitude.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Growth Mindset: A strong sense of curiosity and a genuine desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to navigate and resolve complex technical requirements efficiently.
- Agile Advocate: Solid knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle practices and processes.
Bonus Points For
- Previous hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools.
- Prior experience developing online booking systems.
- Ability to contribute to or develop a comprehensive test strategy, including risk analysis and test prioritization.
- Experience drafting Proof of Concepts (POCs) and high-level system designs.
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or Staff Engineer.
